By providing exciting Christian Education programmes to encourage spiritual growth for adults, young people and
   children in the district;
By using Seasons of the Spirit Bible based resources    connecting worship, learning and service for all ages;
By equipping members with faith sharing skills;
By encouraging involvement in small groups.

WE HAVE MODERN, CONTEMPORARY & TRADITIONAL WORSHIP SERVICES:

By providing lively, relaxed and reflective worship services;
By encouraging meaningful participation, prayer and a variety of music for a diversity of people in
  our services;
By including a monthly All Together Family Service in the Parish.

WE HAVE AN OUTWARD LOOKING FOCUS & AN ACTIVE OUTREACH GROUP:

By using Outreach activities to enable the Parish to focus on those beyond church life;
By using Outreach activities to help those in need, in the local community and beyond;
By using Outreach activities to nurture ecumenical links;
By using Outreach activities to make connections between faith and daily living.

WE HAVE A STRONG MINISTRY TEAM & EQUIP PEOPLE FOR LEADERSHIP:

By having a team of clergy and lay members to work in a shared ministry with parish leaders and
   parishioners to grow a healthy church;
By being a strategic training parish in the diocese.

WE ARE A WELCOMING &CARING PARISH COMMUNITY FOR ALL AGES & STAGES:

By meeting the diverse needs of Church members and other;
By Pastoral Care Networks caring for the lonely and sick with compassion;
By having social functions that encourage friendships and fellowship;
By making room for others, encouraging women, men and children to participate in the Parish
   Community.

WE ARE GROWING A MINISTRY WITH CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE, YOUNG ADULTS & FAMILIES:

By employing a Children's Ministry Pastoral Worker to work to continue ministry with children
   and families;
By encouraging parish leaders to participate in ministry with young people;
By supporting local ecumenical School Chaplains and a local University Chaplain.

WE ARE RESPONSIBLE MANAGERS OF CHURCH PROPERTY & FACILITIES:

By an ongoing maintenance program;
By continuing to modernise & develop the Church property, grounds and cemetery;
By encouraging the use of technology within the parish;
By promoting the benefits of having a modern Parish Centre.

WE ARE EXPLORING NEW INITIATIVES TO HELP DEVELOP OUR CHURCH IN THE FUTURE:

By Elmo's Crossing Sunday night programme.
By discussions on spirituality and theology for the 21 st Century;
By following up the Scenario Planning outcomes 2005-2015, to grow in Christ;
By increasing our visibility in the community by the use of advertising and the media.
