St Saviour's Parish Community Art Project
The Team We are enjoying working on three new large canvasses for the Meeting Room, having been inspired by artist, Jo Davidson. We have consulted with Jo, and she has come up with some beautiful ideas, based on our beliefs and spirituality. She is allowing us to develop these ideas ourselves. So far, we have gathered a team, and started work on the three backgrounds. Jesus the Saviour - Stage 2 The central painting reminds us of Jesus the Saviour, his life and message of compassion. Jesus the Saviour - Stage 3, The Star The other two remind us of God the Creator breathing life into the world (especially our corner of it) through the power of the Holy Spirit, and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit - love, joy, peace.
