"Contemporary Use of the Interior of the Church Building
for Worship and Mission".

These Parish discussions took place between 27 July and 27 August 2003

· The Church is the People of God, the Body of Christ.
· The Church building is a house or home for God's People in Christ.

At the Special Vestry Meeting held on 26 October 2003 the following motions were passed:

1.
That the Parish Council proceeds to have the altar-table moved forward (see plan). The Holy Communion will be received below the steps - communion rails will be available to the sides.
2.
That the Parish Council proceeds to implement a new arc seating plan as diagrammed in the background documents.
3.
That the Parish Council has a new blue carpet laid.
4.
That the parish Council has reverse cycle heating/ cooling installed in the Church.

5.

That the Vestry approves the use of the Meeting Room for occasional and alternate worship services.
